Supporting Our Veterans
Five cents from every can of Merinos Canned Seafood sold is donated to MissionOutdoors.org.
Mission Outdoors is about connecting and building relationships and trust with our veterans by helping them to get engaged in their community and to discover the immense value of their lives and showing them there is hope.
We started working with Mission Outdoors in 2019. It was a pleasure to meet so many great people all focused on the same cause. This is really a great NPO doing good things for those that serve and protect our great country.
Mission Outdoors runs some great programs. The annual Washington Tuna Classic is a yearly program here in Westport. In 2019 nearly 8000 pounds of Albacore Tuna was donated for local Washington State food banks. Earlier this spring, the Mission delivered canned Albacore to food banks and first responders in efforts to help support those in need and on the front lines combatting COVID-19.
